• Course: TDD for Embedded C
  • Date entered: 2018-03-28 16:54:03 UTC
  • Course rating: Very Good
  • Most useful learnings: The method of implementing TDD, especially using spies and mocks.
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements: I would like more detail on using mocks/Mocks.
  • Exercise rating: Very Good
  • Exercise improvements: On the exercise with the spy (light controller), a little more detail on the structure would have helped (probably a restatement after we had been in the exercise for 20 mins).
  • Instructor comments: Very good.
  • Better prepared: Bring it on!
  • Start tomorrow: Yes, but there will be some legacy tasks to get the code base completely testable. (I am currently working on known bugs for legacy code....._ butI know what to do about it!)
  • Challenges to applying: Learning more about Mocks and spies. Getting existing code (some in development, some legacy) to a testable place.
  • Other comments: Remote delivery worked very well. Having a group remote, not just an individual remote, was also a big plus for us.
  • Legacy code workshop: No
  • Recommend to others: Yes
  • Quote permission: Yes
