• Course: TDD for Embedded C
  • Date entered: 2018-03-28 16:57:28 UTC
  • Course rating: Very Good
  • Most useful learnings: I learned that I write bugs. That I have legacy code that smells. I learned that I need to improve my work and that I now have got tools for it. Not just TDD but also other tools. (Even though the tools maybe are part of TDD)
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements: I don't know if it was me but I had difficulties with the first exercise, I did not understand how to start. I needed more information, at a slower pace, to understand the the exercise. The first day was stressful for me and I felt totally lost.
  • Exercise rating: Very Good
  • Exercise improvements: Same here I don't know if it was me but I had difficulties with the first exercise, I did not understand how to start. I needed more information, at a slower pace, to understand the the exercise. But also some time to reflect an go back and try to understand what I have just completed (the exercise).
  • Instructor comments: Really good to have an instructor that understands the concept and has really used it in real life. The third day was a real eye opener which put a lot together.
  • Better prepared: Much better
  • Start tomorrow: Need to do a couple of more exercises. Need to look into it (TDD) for other languages.
  • Challenges to applying: Legacy code...
  • Other comments: It is a little challenging to
  • Legacy code workshop: No
  • Recommend to others: Yes
  • Quote permission: No
