• Course: TDD for Embedded C
  • Date entered: 2021-08-13 07:20:38 UTC
  • Course rating: Very Good
  • Most useful learnings: starting to develop new code should be done under supervisory of tdd. Legacy code to rework need huge amount of time and should be use carefully to not violate delivery schedules.
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements: The exercises should be cleared up. As a pupil it was not everytime clear what is to do and how far the exercise should be done.
  • Exercise rating: Very Good
  • Exercise improvements: Tool is nice. But as developer I had often the intention to search through the code to finde declaration of function name what is not possibe or at least not known by me how.
  • Instructor comments: Good understandable also for not native english speaker. Thumb up.
  • Better prepared: Moderately
  • Start tomorrow: I'll try. I need to get used to and be sure about the setup.
  • Challenges to applying: The preparation phase forlegacy code. The thinking construct to avoid to do more than one step with one jump.
  • Other comments: Location related: It's hard to follow the explanations already in evening sometimes. Unfortunately the working day start nevertheless in our morning.
  • Legacy code workshop: Yes
  • Recommend to others: Yes
  • Quote permission: Yes
