  • Course rating: very good
  • Most useful learnings:
  • Concepts v exercises:
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements:
  • Exercise rating:
  • Exercise improvements: When I was a bit lost I could just check the text of the published book (vs the class ppt). However I can't decide if that was good or bad. I always got right back on track and completed the exercises (which felt good). But I was also just copying from the book (so I'm not sure how much I was learning). Overall I'm still going with Good!
  • Instructor comments: James and Bob were both excellent. Thank you both for coming to Louisville.
  • Better prepared: Much better
  • Start tomorrow: I can start as soon as I actually get to a PC for technical work. (Meetings; JIRAing; etc don't count (that is; I don't actually get the chance to work on code everyday (but sure wish I did))).
  • Challenges to applying:
  • Other comments:
  • Legacy code workshop: Yes
  • Recommend to others: yes
  • Quote permission: no
