• Course: TDD for C
  • Date entered: 2015-01-21 22:17:20 UTC
  • Course rating: Good
  • Most useful learnings: Learning what TDD is intended for and what type of tools are available
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements: It would have been nice to see some of the code ahead of time. If it was available I missed it. I also was told I was going to the class <24 hours before it occurred.
  • Exercise rating: Good
  • Exercise improvements: Providing a solution to work from after completion of the test for a more elegant solution.
  • Instructor comments: While talking with students was at times helpful, while trying to learn the concept to have continual talking made it difficult.
  • Better prepared: Moderately
  • Start tomorrow: Yes, I can on my own time.
  • Challenges to applying: We are just starting up a project, and management things TDD can be used for the entire project. I do not think that it can be all the way to the GUI testing.
  • Other comments: I think the class was good, I only wish I had longer to prepare since I had not programmed in C for a long period of time.
  • Legacy code workshop: No
  • Recommend to others: Yes
  • Quote permission: Yes
