• Course: TDD for Embedded C
  • Date entered: 2016-09-16 17:15:29 UTC
  • Course rating: Excellent
  • Most useful learnings: Understand how a unit test should be performed.
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements: Not much. I'd wish we have more days to learn from the instructor.
  • Exercise rating: Excellent
  • Exercise improvements: I am not a big fan of paring up with other people when doing the exercises. I like the mobbing concept nonetheless.
  • Instructor comments: Excellent.
  • Better prepared: Much better
  • Start tomorrow: No, I am on a more hardware related project at the moment. I would like to explore TDD on my own.
  • Challenges to applying: It seems that I am usually only involved for a limited time of many projects, and most of the stuff I write is tightly linked to the CPU hardware. Therefore if I start using "fake functions" then probably not much left for unit testing.
  • Other comments: No. Training days go fast. I enjoy training days.
  • Legacy code workshop: Yes
  • Recommend to others: Yes
  • Quote permission: Yes
