• Course: C/C++
  • Date entered: 2026-03-04 22:04:01 UTC
  • Course rating: Excellent
  • Most useful learnings: To implement the TDD approach in simple exercises.
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements: They only thing that was not great was the quality of the video and audio streaming, so that's probably the main aspect where you need to improve. It may be beneficial to schedule at least one day between classes to provide adequate time for reviewing preparation materials and completing exercises. Therefore, instead of holding classes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday schedule would be preferable. Something that may also help is to have four three-hour sessions instead of three Four-hour sessions.
  • Exercise rating: Excellent
  • Exercise improvements: They are amazing and the preparation materials allow people to get familiar before the lessons which is great. Sorry, no recommendations here :-)
  • Instructor comments: Great course! I loved it especially with all the resources that comes with it.
  • Better prepared: Much better
  • Start tomorrow: Yes, as soon as I have the opportunity to write code.
  • Challenges to applying: Due to various pressures and distractions, developers may sometimes focus on producing a functional proof of concept without initially implementing unit tests, intending to add them at a later stage once preliminary ad-hoc testing has indicated that the required functionality/behavior is present.
  • Other comments: Four-hour sessions feel too long; four three-hour sessions would be preferable.
  • Legacy code workshop: No
  • Recommend to others: Yes
